Class Format

Virtual classes are offered in real time with a live instructor. When you are part of a virtual class, your instructor is able to provide the interactive classroom experience from your own computer. You can participate in discussions, test your knowledge and ask questions, just like in a regular classroom. These classes run similarly to a live class and are a great option for those people interested in completing their training in a typical timeframe.

Learning Objectives 

After completing this course, you will be able to: 

  • Define those conditions that reflect efficiently run systems
  • Define Hazards-Identifying approved methods, devices and assemblies-Administration of a Cross Connection Program-
  • Ensure water quality after interruption of service
  • Understand unidirectional flushing as measure of system integrity and;
  • Apply logistical processes, safe dig practices, preventing damage ensuring sanitary conditions during construction, pipe handling.

Who Should Attend 

You should take this course if you:

  • Water system operators engaged in operation and maintenance from large or small distribution systems.
  • Wanting to understand more, or entering a role where you will be dealing with the safe and reliable distribution of water to the community.

All attendees must have their own computer with audio and video capabilities to participate.
